To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the SaGa series, Square Enix today announced that Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend will be released on Switch on December 15th.
With this digital collection, players can experience the first three titles in the SaGa series:
- The Final Fantasy Legend
- Final Fantasy Legend II
- and Final Fantasy Legend III
Created by Akitoshi Kawazu and released on Game Boy from 1989. These faithful adaptations of these classic 8-bit titles offer nostalgic and original adventures.
Available for the first time in Europe, Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend is a great way to experience this series of iconic RPGs.
Players will travel through fantastic worlds while enjoying new features that will enhance the gaming experience:
- Speed boost for characters
- Adjustable screen magnification
- Retro display mode recreates the original Game Boy experience
- New commemorative music and unpublished illustrations
Among the additional features, players will discover a special celebratory song or eight different wallpapers in-game and the possibility of playing with texts in Japanese or English.
The Final Fantasy Legend was the very first RPG designed for Game Boy. To honor it, players will detach the Joy-Con, hold the console vertically and use the on-screen buttons to return to the original Game Boy experience.
Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend will be available on Nintendo Switch, digitally only, on December 15th. The game will be available for pre-order from Nintendo eShop.
