According to previous claims, this Christmas, PlayStation would have announced a new remake of a “great game,” and it seems that the title in question is Chrono Cross. The remastered version of Square Enix’s RPG would be currently in development for multiple platforms. At this point, we have to wait for the elusive announcement planned for these holidays.
Last month, some claims reported a new remake of a “great PlayStation game” already in development. Today, according to Nick Baker, co-founder of the XboxEra podcast, the game in question is Chrono Cross Remastered. The remastered version of the 1999 classic Square Enix is reportedly developing for multiple platforms and could be announced this Christmas.
“Chrono Cross Remastered, I believe, was already in the list of the leak of Nvidia, so the game should not be a surprise. I was told that the prior statements related Chrono Cross Remastered”, reported last XboxEra podcasts. “Everyone thinks it’s a PlayStation exclusive; however, I’ve been told it’s not, the only word that’s been used is ‘cross-platform,’ ” Baker continued.
The word multiplatform does not specify which platforms will be, but Baker says the game could be released on PC, PlayStation, and Switch, even if we are only talking about guesses. To know the truth at this point, we have to wait for this elusive Christmas announcement.
