Capcom has announced Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This is a sequel to Capcom Arcade Stadium, originally released last year, promises to add 32 more classic titles to modern consoles.
It has not yet revealed which titles are part of this compilation nor the release date, but Capcom has already made it clear that SonSon will be available as a free download in the future. Additionally, players who pre-ordered the Capcom Fighting Collection anthology will receive Three Wonders as a bonus.
The announcement didn’t go far beyond the officialization of a rumor circulating for some time. Still, the company has already assured us that it will reveal more information very soon. It’s possible that players won’t have to wait long, as the previous build was released two months after it was announced.
The first compilation, Capcom Arcade Stadium, was originally released for Switch in February 2021, later coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The collection consists of 32 retro titles that have been available in arcades in the past, developed by Capcom. It contains 17 years of company history, starting in 1984 with Vulgus until 2001 with Progear.
