Activision has allowed some NFL athletes, including Cameron Dicker, a player of the Los Angeles Rams, to preview the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II out on October 28, and as has happened several times in the past, some players have shown images and game clips on your Instagram profile, without respecting the embargo. Fortunately, these leaks allow us to look at the Modern Warfare II game menu in advance and finally receive confirmation of the existence of the chat DMZ mode.
According to the images shared by Dicker, the lobby has some references to the one seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 of 2009, to which this title serves as a reboot. The menu has been updated, but the references are present, and at the bottom right, it is possible to see one of the maps, which apparently will lead players to compete inside a museum. In a short video clip attached, it is also possible to see a few seconds of gameplay.
The most important part is certainly the confirmation of the existence of DMZ, the new mode anticipated by Tom Henderson and inspired by Escape From Tarkov. We, therefore, know that in addition to all the classic modes, there will also be one in battle royale style, with different teams competing to recover equipment and escape from the game map. For more details, we have to wait for the presentation expected for September.
