Shortly before the launch of the first season of Warzone with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch announced a new patch is coming to Black Ops Cold War.
This update includes improvements in quality of life, bug fixes, stability updates, and adjustments to weapons and Scorestreaks. The patch does not contain weapon buffs or nerfs, however.
The significant change for weapons is that there is now more polish in the “visual setback” when shooting from the hip. The updates fix an animation problem with the Hauer 77 and eliminate a bug that could cause thermal oscilloscopes to malfunction when riding in a vehicle.
New crossing options are unlocked in this update, too, as parachutes can now be used in all modes on large-scale Crossroads and Armada maps.
Zombies fans are getting some news with this update, as it features new teasers about the first season update on “Die Maschine” and Onslaught. You can see the full patch notes on the official website.
As a thank you to the fans for their patience regarding the delay of the first season, Treyarch offers everyone some customization items for free. All you need to do is log in to the game between December 8th and 16th to claim these packages:
