While gamers from around the world still hope that a sequel, or at least a next-gen remaster of Bloodborne, will be announced soon, a slightly different but interesting project is looming on the horizon.
A few months ago, we heard for the first time about the demake of Bloodborne, a specially reworked version of this cult production that will look like a title for the original PlayStation console. The developer of this interesting project, Lilith Walther ( @ B0tster ), has just shared some new details. We learned that Bloodborne PSX will hit the PlayStation 4 on January 31, 2022. In addition, there is a new trailer that you can find below.
Of course, the demake will not be an exact copy of Bloodborne, with slightly worse graphics. However, there will be well-known opponents such as Lost Hunter, Huntsman, Rabid Dog, Troll, Carrion Crow, Werewolf, Hunter, and even Cleric Beast and Father Gascoigne bosses.
In January, the developer revealed in an interview with Kotaku that she was inspired to create the demake by blurred screenshots that appeared in 2015. In addition to Lilith Walther, Corwyn Prichard has also worked on Bloodborne PSX.
The game Bloodborne PSX will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
