Two important pieces of news for THQ Nordic, the publisher of the highly anticipated indie Biomutant due out on May 25. The first is that pending the game’s release, it has been confirmed that the pre-order requests are very promising and absolutely above expectations. The second, decidedly less pleasant, is that day one has been broken in different parts of the world and that in the last few hours, the first spoilers have begun to circulate.
As for sales, the passage of a report shared last May 20 reveals that “the requests made by the pre-orders of Biomutant are very strong and exceed the expectations of the management of Embracer (Ed. Holding of THQ Nordic)”, news that can only make the guys from Experiment 101 happy, who have been working on the title for six years now. The game is also best-selling on Steam just two days after launch, above Mass Effect: Legendary Edition and Subnautica: Below Zero. Below the tweet with all the details.
As for the copies sent in advance, however, unfortunately, the situation is out of control, and at the moment, the risk of spoilers is very high. THQ Nordic intervened on Twitter, asking fans and streamers to limit the publication of video clips and not anticipate the story’s highlights. Still, as you can imagine, the game’s ending has already appeared on the web, and the situation will hardly change in the next few hours.
If you have pre-ordered the game or intend to buy it soon, we advise you to limit searches on YouTube and other social networks to minimize the risk of unintentional previews.
