Xbox acquired Bethesda, which spreads uncertainty about the PlayStation 5 exclusivity of games like Deathloop and Ghostwire, which are currently in development.
In conversation with Game Informer, thanks to VGC, Arkane suggests that nothing has changed, and in the case of Deathloop, it will continue as a game available for PS5 and PC.
“The acquisition did not affect the development of Deathloop, which we are developing exclusively for PlayStation 5 on consoles and PCs,” said an Arkane representative.
Previously, Phil Spencer said that Bethesda’s agreements before the acquisition would be fulfilled, which suggests that, at least at launch, Deathloop will not have an Xbox Series version.
Deathloop will arrive on May 21 on PS5 and PC.
