Battlefield 6, Electronic Arts’ new “Triple-A” shooter, could debut this fall directly on Xbox Game Pass, according to Xbox Era insider Nick “Shpeshal Ed” Baker. Tom Henderson, the leaker responsible for all the recent rumors regarding the development of the new Battlefield, has confirmed that, according to his sources, the game could actually arrive at the launch on the Xbox subscription service, thus fueling the hopes of fans.
During XboxEra Podcast # 51 (1:19:30), Shepshal Ed stated the following: “My sources confirm that there is a certain cross-platform Triple-A FPS that will most likely be coming straight to Game Pass this fall.” The other participants speculated that it could be the new Call of Duty or Battlefield 6, stating that EA could actually aim to sell cosmetics and Battle Pass to the 20 million players who subscribe to the service, thus recovering development costs.
Tom Henderson, another extremely reliable leaker, answered fans’ questions by posting the GIF visible below as if to suggest that the rumors may actually have some truth.
We remind you that, unfortunately, at the moment, there are no confirmations. Still, many fans did not even believe the arrival of Outriders and MLB: The Show 2021 on day one on Game Pass, and Microsoft has managed to amaze users in both cases. The first official information on Battlefield 6 will be revealed this summer, during E3 2021, Gamescom, or the next EA Play.
