Exactly today, the official presentation of the new version of the iconic FPS took place. The announcement of the production called Battlefield 2042 has been released to the network.
Although players worldwide have already thoroughly analyzed the video below, the developers decided to surprise them with some very important information. The representative of the DICE studio, Daniel Berlin, revealed in an interview with the editor of Eurogamer that Battlefield 2042 will not receive a single-player campaign. The developers decided to focus only on the multiplayer mode this time. In addition, the available gameplay models will not include the popular battle royale in recent years.
“If you look at the DNA of the studio, what we’ve been doing for so long, we just said you know what, we’re not going to have a traditional single-player campaign this time around, but we’re going to put all that emphasis and all those resources into building depth into the multiplayer. Because that is what we do best.”Berlin
