As reported by the players, the beta of Battlefield 2042 would be full of bugs, with non-working animations, sudden deaths, frequent frame rate drops even on performing PCs, and much more. In addition, there are problems with the operation of adaptive triggers on PS5, HDR not active on PC, problems in creating parties with players from different consoles, and sudden error messages. Below you can check out some fan complaints, with many users asking EA to take more time to avoid another Battlefield 4- like launch.
The playable beta of Battlefield 2042 is most likely based on a few months old build, so it is not impossible that many reported the developers have already fixed problems. The studio has already decided to postpone the game for about a month to fix the possibility. Still, at this point, we cannot completely rule out the possibility of a further postponement, even for just a couple of weeks.
For the moment, the release of Battlefield 2042 is scheduled for November 19, 2021, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S.
