Battlefield 2042, a new game in the Battlefield franchise that is scheduled for release on November 19 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, had its open beta last week, from the 6th to the 9th, with some troubling events, including the presence of cheats.
The DICE has disclosed some details about the game, and one of them is about the support mouse and keyboard on the console, which the developer said will not happen, at least not with the launch. However, according to the company, this is still being investigated and studied on how this can affect cross-play.
DICE adds that Battlefield 2042 is committed to positive and fair gaming. So if the company changes its mind and decides to add support for mice and keyboards to the console, all players will hear it directly from the developer first.
Battlefield 2042 was scheduled to date October 22, 2021; however, the date was pushed back by almost a month, being relocated to November 19, 2021. The postponement was due to the complications of the Covid-19 pandemic.
