Interplay and Wizards of the Coast have announced that the ps2 and original Xbox classic RPG Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance will leap PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on May 7.
This is a relaunch, and it’s not a remaster or remake and so in addition to 4k support on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, along with its backward compatibility with the PS5 and Xbox Series X, there’s not much new to discuss. The 2-player co-op is back, of course.
PC and mobile versions will also be released later this year, on an unconfirmed date. Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance was originally released on PS2 and Xbox on December 2, 2001, and later received a port for Nintendo’s GameCube.
