Babylon’s Fall, Square Enix, and PlatinumGames’ high fantasy JRPG officially entered the gold phase just under two months after launch. The confirmation took place a few hours ago during live streaming visible on YouTube, organized by Square Enix to show the game and reveal some of the innovations implemented based on the feedback of the last few months.
During the live broadcast, the developers confirmed that all the main works are finished and that the video game is practically ready for launch, even if further interventions in progress will still be necessary due to the multiplayer nature of the title. In this regard, Square Enix also stated that during the routine checks and the printing of physical copies, the developers would work on patch day one to correct any problems before launch and guarantee a smooth experience for users. If this is the case, we will only find out on March 3, 2022, the day on which Babylon’s Fall will arrive on PC, PS4, and PS5.
Babylon’s Fall has long been one of the most eagerly awaited video games by JRPG fans. Still, popularity began to wane once the looter-slasher nature of the title, conceived as a Godfall- style Game as a service, was confirmed. We’ll see if this transformation will benefit the title or not.
