Asus has recently officially launched its new gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 3, with many powerful capabilities, one of which is the use of a screen with a refresh rate of 144Hz.
Of course, the presence of a screen with a high refresh rate makes the gaming experience smoother and smoother. But apparently, the ability of ROG Phone 3 does not stop there.

XDA-Developers recently reported that it turns out that the screen of the ROG Phone 3 can support a higher refresh rate of up to 160Hz. This certainly makes many people shocked and impressed with the smartphone.

It was mentioned that the 160Hz option on ROG Phone 3 was experimental. Although it can be activated, Asus is known not to allow everyone to enable it because it can make the features and smartphone system become unstable and run optimally.
To activate the 160Hz feature, ROG Phone 3 users must activate ADB (Android Debug Bridge) and type in the code “ADB shell setprop debug.vendor.asus.fps.eng 1”. After that, users only need to restart and can find the 160Hz option in the settings menu.
It was mentioned again that users who want to activate the 160Hz feature must understand the risks experienced after using it. But at least this shows that the ROG Phone 3 is a very great smartphone.
