On March 31st, the Impostors can drive their victims insane on a new map. The previously announced “Airship” map then comes into play.
This makes the airship the fourth free map for the popular indie title. With even better opportunities to move around, you can sneak around as an impostor or as a hobby detective to keep an eye on the supposed traitors.
Floating platforms and ladders allow a quick change between the rooms of the ship. This time there is no fixed starting point for the entire crew. Each player can choose his own starting point. That should provide more dynamism and nice surprises.
New tasks, such as polishing gemstones and the exemplary garbage disposal, keep the busy crew members from wasting too much thought on the Impostor. So that you cut a good figure while assassinating and dying, new skins also come into play.
The Airship is set to be the largest and most comprehensive map to date for friends of assassination and pointing fingers. Originally, the InnerSloth team of five had hoped they could release the map a little earlier. The new content’s slower progress had nothing to do with the developer’s name (Sloth) but with maintenance work, the search for new staff, and the workaround porting to the switch, as the developer writes in his blog.
A new account system is supposed to get a grip on another problem: hackers. The use of accounts is intended to make it more difficult for hackers to tamper with other people’s games or cause other damage. InnerSloth is also thinking of the color-blind crew members with the new update and has added a special mode for color-blind people.
