AMD will announce a new video card on March 3. It is expected to fall in the middle segment.
AMD has announced that the next unveiling will be a new Radeon RX 6000 graphics card. The presentation of the new card will take place on March 3 at 11am ET. The Livestream can be viewed via the AMD website.
The CPU and GPU maker promises that the event will continue the journey of the RDNA2 architecture behind the Navi graphics cards. The company also says it will continue to work on the chips used in the Xbox Series X and PS5. We believe it will market a graphics card that can compete with Nvidia’s RTX 3060. It will go on sale later today, February 25, 2021.
Like the PlayStation 5 and Series X, it is almost impossible to purchase a new video card for a PC. This is due to the value of the cryptocurrency that has risen sharply. The new maps are very well suited for mining so far. Nvidia has already indicated to counter this with the upcoming RTX 3060 cards.
