AMD has just introduced the Radeon RX 6700 XT, a new mid-range graphics card capable of delivering 1080p and 1440p gaming with a high refresh rate.
As Nvidia unveiled its RTX 3060 earlier last week, it was inevitable that AMD would respond to the competition by unveiling its own graphics card: the Radeon RX 6700 XT. This card has 40 CU, 12 GB of DDR6 video memory, an in-game frequency of 2.424MHz, and 96MB of Infinity cache. If we compare this performance to that of an RTX 3060 (its direct competitor), it has 3584 Cuda cores, 1.320MHz base frequency, and 1.777 overclocked, as well as 12GB of DDR6 video memory.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT also has two axial fans with a “Zero RPM” mode for cooling and relatively non-existent noise when turned on. You will find two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.1 ports on the sides, so this graphics card can output a 4K signal and go up to 120 fps.
AMD promises that its card can run games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 at a higher frame rate than the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti and Nvidia RTX 3070.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT will be available in March 2021 for $ 479.
