At the beginning of April this year, representatives of the Blue Box studio presented their latest work, a survival horror titled Abandoned. The mentioned production is headed exclusively for the PlayStation 5 console, and the premiere will take place at the end of this year.
The creators decided to share the good news with the players. It has been officially announced that Abandoned will also appear on PCs in the future. No additional details were given on this topic, and the announcement came down to a short Twitter post.
The action of Abandoned will be set in a detailed world that will present the possibilities of a new generation console. The player will play the role of Jason Longfield, who will awaken in a mysterious forest. Jason doesn’t remember how he got there. All he knows is that he has been abducted, and his only thought is to fight for survival.
The creators assure that their work will also fully benefit from the DualSense pad solutions, which will make every step in the mysterious forest feel on your own skin. 3D sound and extremely realistic graphics will provide additional immersion. Of course, thanks to the PlayStation 5 console, players can also expect fast loading times, 4K resolution, and smoothness of 60 FPS. Additional details about this project can be found on the official PlayStation website.
Interestingly, the web was swarming with rumors that Hideo Kojima himself was involved in the work on this title. The developers decided to officially deny these reports, adding that their team has been passionate about working on Abandoned for a long time and has nothing to do with these rumors that would fuel the marketing side of their work.
