The guys from Asobo Studio are back to show A Plague Tale: Requiem about six months after the official presentation, which took place during E3 2021. The new action-adventure trailer shows some of the new settings that Alicia and Hugo will explore in their new journey and sheds light on the story of this new chapter.
The first A Plague Tale was developed with a small budget, but after the game’s success, it seems evident that there has been an increase in the budget, perhaps also thanks to the partnership with Microsoft. The new trailer anticipates an excellent technical sector for the new chapter of the series, with new gameplay solutions and a slightly more marked survival horror component.
A Plague Tale: Requiem will debut in 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PC, and Nintendo Switch, but curiously not on PS4 and Xbox One. Unfortunately, the game does not yet have a release date, but Microsoft has already confirmed that all Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to download it at no cost on day one.
